Allison F. Dunlap

Managing Director

Allison is a Managing Director providing leadership to the firm’s alternative investment platform and serving as a family wealth advisor.  Prior to joining Harbour Capital Advisors, Allison founded and ran a boutique investment advisory firm for three years, providing investment management and financial planning services to affluent families. Her entrepreneurial and management experience also includes a five-year tenure at Alliance Partners, an asset manager that she helped build from inception.  During her time there, Allison developed and ran the sales group responsible for the distribution of over $2.0 Bn of assets to 200+ institutional clients nationwide. Allison has over a decade of direct investing, deal structuring, and due diligence experience from her work in investment banking (First Union Securities), private equity (Allied Capital) and corporate finance (CapitalSource and GE Capital). Allison earned an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Math from Davidson College. She currently serves on the Advisory Board for Quantum Partners, a consulting firm that supports CEOs on strategy and growth, and co-chairs the Wharton Business Owners of DC affiliate group.
